I went to bed at midnight and woke at 8:00 a.m.

Today is the day we're going to pick up our flowers from the youth group plant sale at S.M.'s church.

Mom went with me to pick up the flowers.  They didn't have the pentas I ordered, and they were short on red salvia.  I accepted a substitution of red petunia for the salvia.  They had Dad's tomatoes and the dianthus and portulaca.

We stopped at the grocery store on the way back home.

I read part of a book about crows.  I watched the Cornell Ornithology Lab's bird cams.  I went through a couple of editing jobs while watching the Texas hummingbird feeder cam.  Later I watched the barred owl nest box camera.  The female owl is getting a lot of food for the owlets.  She brought them a rabbit.  She's also bringing birds.  One of the owlets tried to swallow a woodpecker whole.

I didn't go outside in the yard because it was raining.  The jasmine in my room is blooming.
