I used my inhaler before the bird walk. I was surprised I didn't get out of breath anyway, but the bird watchers weren't moving that fast, and they were stopping fairly frequently to break out the binoculars. Between them, the experts saw 46 species of birds, which they said was good this time of year. Dad mostly used our pair of binoculars, as my glasses kept getting steamed up in the humidity. I saw lots of robins, and lots of what the birders said were tree swallows. I saw crows and mallard ducks, and a few Canada geese going by. I saw a couple of goldfinches and an osprey.
Later: Mom and I went out and about. We went to a small grocery store, then the library, and then the usual grocery store. After we got home, I watched the Cornell Ornithology Lab bird live cams and some of their videos.
