Monday so far

I read until 11:30 p.m., and then turned off the computer and had my midnight snack.  I went back to reading, then went to bed at 1:00 a.m.  I half-dozed, then got up at 2:00 a.m. because I was hungry.  I had a banana and took cough medicine.  I woke again at 4:30 or so for no apparent reason, but at least I wasn't coughing.  I went back to bed and drifted off at some point.  I woke a little before 10:00 a.m., so at least I woke up at a reasonable hour for the first time in some time.

I made an appointment to see the nurse practitioner tomorrow morning at the local medical center.  Apparently a lot of people got colds for Christmas.  I canceled on going out with A.J. tomorrow, as she gets colds very easily.  Maybe we'll do something Thursday.  Hopefully I will be feeling better by then.

A few hours later: Mom and I went out and about.  The weather was clear, unlike the weekend, and it was a little above freezing.  I was bundled up, including my elf scarf.  We stopped at Ross' so Mom could get something for Kim.  We went to Wal-Mart.  I got what I wanted there.  At least I got out of the house and got a change of scene.

I picked up again with reading Journey.

Later than that: I finished reading Journey.  I didn't really care for a relationship where one protagonist was asexual, and the other really liked sex.  Aside from that I enjoyed the book.

Later still: I read a couple more Hollis Shiloh novellas.  They were set in the steampunk and magic world.

I proofed a chapter for A.W.
