Saturday so far

I turned off the computer at 11:00 p.m.  I sat up until midnight reading Guarding January, but I was very tired.  I went to bed a little after midnight.  I didn't fall asleep right away, but I wasn't in distress.  I guess I eventually drifted off.  I got up for the day at 11:00 a.m.  I must have slept for at least ten hours.  I guess I needed it.

I got lots of free books from promos, and entered giveaways to get a Kindle.  I figure that now that I've bought one, I'll probably win one.

The squirrel was eating seed from the ground below the bird feeder, where I'd spilled some when the feeder broke.  There were birds around, too.  Dad and I saw a tufted titmouse, a chickadee, sparrows, wrens and juncos.

I finished Guarding January.

Later: I talked a little with YMCA-P.  I decorated the little tree that I got the day after Christmas last year.  T., the volunteer for Friday Night Friends, had given out little tinsel trees from Five Below.  I had gotten a white one.  I got a green one half-price after Christmas.  I will have to find the white one and decorate that, too.  I have plenty of ornaments.  I put gold and red balls on the green tree.  I'll put pink and green ones on the white tree.

I texted with WhiteSheepCBD and chatted a bit with A.W.  A.W. has said much about "hogging me to herself," after my regular job, of course, but she found someone else whose work badly needs proofreading.  I proofed the first chapter of a new story of A.W.'s.  I communicated with the new person.

J. said he and K. would come up to visit on Christmas Eve, since he didn't have to work that day.  It will be nice to see them again.  I have more herbal tea to give them.

I texted a little with J.-PA.
