Tuesday so far

I watched some CNN, then turned off the TV at midnight.  I finished Gays of Our Lives.  The narrator, Emerson, was a total curmudgeon, but he explained why very well.  Obie, his love interest, was very nice and cheerful, and understood Emerson well.  I finished at 2:00 a.m. and went to bed.  I don't think it took me a long time to get to sleep.  I got up before 10:30 a.m., so I guess I got my eight hours.

I said hi to A.W. and proofed the last of the second chapter of her story.

The free All Romance eBook was one of Andrew Grey's.  I told the folks on the Gay Book Forum about it.

Mom wants me to go with her to Barnes & Noble.

Later: Mom and I went to Barnes & Noble and the post office.  We went home for lunch, and then I went out to the grocery store with the cafe.  I shopped and then picked up dinner.  That store is now carrying honeybush herbal tea, which I had just ordered.  They change around what they carry in Numi teas every month or so, it seems.

I read some of the next book after Gays of Our Lives.  I don't think the guys on the Gay Book Forum will be interested, since the second one features a pair of lesbians.  They haven't been very political yet, but I'm waiting for the political correctness.  It's not that it isn't a good book for what it is, but it's a slog for me when I want to read m/m.

Mom and I watched a couple of episodes of "Call the Midwife."  The latest one we watched was about the dangers of smoking.  Three more episodes until we finish the fifth season.  I expect the sixth season is already on PBS.
