Sunday so far

I finished reading Ghosts of Jim Crow at 12:30 a.m., and went to bed.  I got up briefly, but went back to bed, and was probably asleep before 1:00 a.m.  I got up with my alarm at 10:00 a.m.

I chatted with A.W. a bit.  I read new chapters of a few Avengers fics.  The plan is to go with the L.s to the Brandywine River Museum.

Later: The L.s and I went to the Brandywine River museum.  We looked at the trees with ornaments made from dried plant materials -- teasel, seed pods from all different plants, etc.  We could hear the opera singer singing carols on the second floor.  We looked at the gallery that displayed different rooms of a large dollhouse, with antique dolls and dollhouse furnishings.  We went up and looked at the model trains.  We didn't get as far as the art galleries.  We just saw the Christmas displays.

Dad and I went out to get dinner from our favorite Chinese takeout place.  After dinner, Mom and I watched the "Call the Midwife" episode with the baby with no limbs.  I suppose the show advertised for a baby with phocomelia?  Mom covered her eyes at first, and I said, "You see the baby for the whole episode.  Get used to it."

I got a bunch of free books from promos.

A. thought he was getting a cold, so we didn't talk tonight.  He was going to "hit the hay" early.  We'll try for Wednesday, if he's feeling better.
