Saturday so far

I turned the computer off a little before 11:30 p.m.  I read some more of Ghosts of Jim Crow, but was really exhausted.  I went to bed at midnight.  I think I fell asleep pretty quickly.  I woke at 8:00 a.m., but went back to bed.  I got up with my alarm at 10:00 a.m.  I could have done better, but I was still sleepy at 8:00 a.m.

I have an editing job to finish.

Later: I finished up the editing job.  Mom and I watched a couple of episodes of "Call the Midwife."  We watched the last episode of the fourth season and part one of the fifth season Christmas episode.  It ended with several cliffhangers and a measles epidemic.  I chatted with A.W. and proofed the first chapter of an mpreg for her.

Later than that: Mom and I watched part two of the Christmas special.  It resolved all the cliffhangers.  From a scene at the end of season four, I think they're going to have a thalidomide plotline in season five.

I arranged to chat with A. tomorrow.  I texted a little with J.-PA.

Later still: I watched the next episode of "Call the Midwife."  It was a thalidomide episode.
