Saturday so far

I turned off the computer at 11:00 p.m. or so.  I had gotten the ARC for The Lion Mistress, so I read that until 1:30 a.m., then went to bed.  I don't think it took me a long time to get to sleep.  I woke a few minutes before 10:00 a.m., so that was good.

I don't have big plans for the day.  Mom went to the grocery store before I woke.  I don't know if she'll want to go to other grocery stores, or do clothes shopping.

I watered the plants on the upstairs windowsills.  The tuberous begonia had a lot of dead leaves, but it was blooming.  It's pink-and-yellow colored, quite lovely.  I didn't bring in the other tuberous begonia.  The begonias I left outside survived for some time while the weather was mild.  The lantana has had it, but that's tender, too.

I chatted a little with A.W.  I read more of The Lion Mistress.

Later: Mom and I went to get spring water.  I got sweets and naan and mango juice from the Indian grocery.  I can't get anything that smells like cilantro or curry or fenugreek or any of those kind of spices.  They had baklava this time.  I got a couple of pieces of that and a few balls of gulab jamun.  I had the naan for late lunch.  Brunch was scrambled eggs and turkey liver.  We dropped off a couple of coats that were too small at Goodwill.

After we got home, we watched the last episode of season three of "Call the Midwife" and the bonus feature.  We watched the Christmas episode of the fourth season.

I proofed the second chapter of A.W.'s latest mpreg story.  I'd proofed the first chapter last night.

Later still: I finished my reread of the second Call the Midwife book and started on the third.  I read a new chapter in an A/B/O fic.
