Thursday -- Thanksgiving

I watched CNN for a while after Mom and I were through watching an episode of "Call the Midwife."  There was a little bit of news, and then they had a program about the 1960s.  I turned off the computer at 11:00 p.m., and the TV not long after.  I read Ghosts of Jim Crow between 11:30 and 12:30, and then I went to bed.  I don't think it took me long to go to sleep.  I woke a little bit before 9:00 a.m.

I sent Thanksgiving greetings to family and friends.  I texted J.-PA and WhiteSheepCBD and P. and Ms. F. and some of the folks from Friday Night Friends.  I called Dad's brother and sisters.  A.W. wished me a happy Thanksgiving.

I think the rest of my morning and the afternoon will be devoted to helping Mom in the kitchen.

Later: J. and K. made it.  K. hadn't been feeling well earlier in the week, so I was happy she could make it.  I helped Mom a lot, and caught up with K.  J. and Dad set up the new TV.  It's smaller than the old one.

Dinner was good.

Mom and I watched another episode of "Call the Midwife" after clean-up.  It was another sad episode.  I think I'll maybe read a little while and then call it a night.
