Mom and I went to N.C.'s shoe repair shop, to pick up my purse, since the strap was fixed. We went to the library and rented the first season of "Call the Midwife." We went to the grocery store and to Wal-Mart. It was a productive trip.
I proofed A.W.'s latest mpreg story.
Later: I went to my sign language class. I got there early and studied with L.B. I had studied at home, too, so I knew most of the words. The teacher, B.C., showed us some of her adaptive technology. I recognized the TTY and some of the alarm clocks. At the end of the class, B.C. gave us an "I Love You" cookie and a pencil with the fingerspelling alphabet on it.
Later still: I quietly read fic.
