My throat is sore, but I'll go see Dr. C. for that today. I have an editing job to do, and will get to work on that.
The abutilon is blooming. The deer were eating the flowers off as soon as they started to open, but now I can see the flowers fully open. It's got variegated leaves, green with a white pictotee, and orange flowers. The poet's jasmine is blooming.
I said hi to A.W.
I got Jordan L. Hawk's new story, "A Christmas Hex." It's 2.5 in the Hexworld series. I still need to read 2, Hexmaker. I got that when it first came out.
I saw Dr. C. "Sinus infection," he said. Draining into my throat, thus the sore throat. Putting pressure on my ears, thus the earaches. He prescribed antibiotics and said to keep taking the OTC cough medicine I was taking. I picked up the antibiotics.
I went to the grocery store. It was a productive trip.
I line edited that job, a box set. I had line edited the original novellas, and it looked like I did quite a decent job the first time around. I only had a couple of minor comments on my own handiwork of a couple of years ago.
Rainioy posted part two of the new fic in the Wolf Moon 'verse, the mpreg one. It was the kind of chapter that puts the reader, or at least this reader, through the emotional wringer. Rainjoy always promises happy endings, though.
I was exhausted by 8:00 p.m.
A.J. had called. I called her back. I made arrangements with L.B. to meet her tomorrow afternoon to study sign language. I hope I'm feeling perkier by then. I texted a little with WhiteSheepCBD.
Cherryfeather posted a new chapter of U Pro O, which also put me through the emotional wringer.
I chatted a little more with A.W. I kind of got a second wind at 10:00 p.m., but I still think I'll go to bed early.
