Saturday so far

J. and K. went to bed around 10:30 p.m.  They were sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living room downstairs, so I went upstairs.  I was on the desktop for a while, but then turned the computer off at 11:00 p.m.  I started reading an Eli Easton book.  I stayed up until 1:30 a.m. reading that.  I went to bed.  I don't think I fell asleep right away, but I don't think it took me a very long time to get to sleep.  I got up with my alarm at 10:00 a.m., so that wasn't bad.

J. and K. were just finishing up breakfast when I got downstairs.  They called it a day for visiting around 11:00 a.m. or so.  It was really nice to see them.

I made plans with B. for him to come plant daffodil and tulip bulbs.  He's coming after his bowling practice.

A few hours later: B. came over and we got the "Butter and Eggs" daffodils planted, and one 'Generaal de Wet' tulip bulb planted.  I need to water them.  I still need to get the 'Rose of May' daffodils planted, and several more tulips.

Slightly later: I chatted with A.W. a little bit.  Mom and I went to a grocery store.  I watered the places where B. and I planted the bulbs.  The Madonna lily, which I planted in the herb garden, has green leaves.  That needs a little time to get established before winter's chill, and it looks like it's getting established well enough.

I made arrangements with P.'s sister D. to shorten clothes for Mom and me.  I'm going there tomorrow.

Later: J.-PA texted me, and we talked about various things.  She asked me if there were any new chapters of "Hands of Clay."  I said no, and then looked on Tumblr.  It looks like there will be a new chapter near Thanksgiving.  I started rereading and reading other fic.
