I got some free books from e-mail promos.
Slightly later: I chatted with Riah for a little while. I told her that the sign language class was mentally exhausting, but that I'd been practicing.
Much later: Mom and I went out to Michael's to look for the makings for costume jewelry. We found some of what we wanted there. We went to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft. I had used my inhaler ahead of time, but I still started to cough while I was in there. I'm allergic to some kind of fragrance there, whether it's from potpourri or scented candles or something impregnated with "autumn" or "pumpkin spice" scent. The coughing fits weren't as bad as last time, though I think we may have been in the store longer. It got worse the longer I was there. The coughing fits continued once we left, but Mom gave me a cough drop. We found more of what we wanted in the way of costume jewelry makings there. I don't know if it was worth the coughing fits, though.
We went to the library. The cough drop was pretty much kicking in by then. I got another book about Deaf culture.
I redid the necklace for Mom.
I picked up dinner. After dinner I went back to Michael's, and exchanged a heavier wire for a lightweight wire. The lightweight wire ended up being too light, but I can redo the bracelets with sixteen-gauge wire. Eighteen was the one that was too lightweight, but I thought the sixteen-gauge wire would be too heavy for me to bend. Somewhere there's a happy medium.
YMCA-P. called, and I called him back. I sorted out hundreds of plastic beads.
