I got an editing job. I practiced some sign language and then went on to Unit 2, to see what we'll be working on next week. I have a lot to remember. Mom and I went to K-Mart. Next we went to the opticians, so she could drop the prescription for her glasses off. There were construction workers operating a jackhammer nearby, so we didn't stay there long. Mom stopped to get her golden sherry after that. Then we went to a supermarket.
A couple of hours later: We went to the shoe repair man, N.C., to get my purse fixed. It must have been a cheap purse in the first place, but it held all my random junk. He said, "Saturday." He works on other leather and faux-leather items in addition to shoes.
Later: I chatted a bit with A.W. I practiced sign language more.
Later still: I chatted again with A.W. I arranged with A. to talk with him on Sunday, so I've got to remember to keep my phone on me. I talked a little with YMCA-P.
I got a couple of books of the history of Deaf culture and started reading one.
