There hasn't been much of Saturday for me yet. I turned off the computer at 11:30 p.m. or so, after chatting with A.W. I went to bed around 1:30 or 1:45 a.m., after reading some of Rat Bastard, the sequel to Pop Goes the Weasel, by Stephen Osborne. I was getting pretty into it. I couldn't get to sleep. I was wide awake at 3:00 a.m. I blame the caffeine from my tea yesterday morning. I must have finally drifted off. I woke at 12:15 p.m. I had been doing better. I've just got to avoid caffeine altogether.
Later: Mom and I went to the grocery store. It was very busy. After I got home, I finished Rat Bastard. I read Branding the Virgin. The authors' content warning was that the book was ridiculous, and it was. It had a pregnant virgin, Insta-Love, and the healing power of the right woman. I didn't rate it. I should have gone into it like I go into an mpreg book, willing to suspend that much disbelief.
Much later: I proofed some more of that book and chatted with the author (A.W.) again. I enjoy chatting with her.
