I was debating whether to go back to sleep again, but I had Golden Chai, which is much better than Rooibos Chai. Of course, the Golden Chai has caffeine, so we'll see how that goes.
A little later: I chatted with Riah for a while.
I texted with WhiteSheepCBD for a while.
Later: Mom and I went to the new hobby shop. She didn't find what she was looking for in pocket calendars, and didn't find glass or plastic beads she liked for making earrings. The store had a lot of religious stuff, though. We went to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft. Mom didn't like the pocket calenders there either. I smelled some strong potpourri/fall fragrance scent and started coughing. It continued into some sort of blend of coughing fits and COPD. I used my inhaler. We went to Staples. The pocket calendars there were very expensive. I started coughing again when we left Staples. It was 90 degrees out or so, and the heat has had me start coughing a lot, too. When we got home I took Benedryl and cough medicine. Mom called the allergist, because I was coughing too hard to hold a conversation. They recommended Mucinex. Maybe we'll go get some tonight.
Later than that: Mom and I went out for Mucinex.
I tweeted a little back and forth with Julia Talbot. She said she was tired of having female traits denigrated in books. I said that I'd heard that every so often in discussions of m/m romance. Julia said it was a "chicks with dicks" discussion again. I said that the misogyny and transmisogyny went together there. Somewhere there's a happy medium between realism and the expectations and conventions of the romance genre. I don't want so much realism that it breaks the rules of the genre, but not too much of guys talking over their Feelings like my brother does. J. is an outlier. I don't go straight to "let's talk all about our Feelings in great detail and with great emotion" like J. and many women, cis and trans, do. But I'm unusual that way.
There was a new chapter of "Parallels 2," and I read that.
I looked through the new "Old House Gardens" catalog.
