I had to hurry to get ready to go to the library at noon, for a program on monarch butterflies. I knew a lot of the information already, but there were nice slides. The presenter asked who in the room planted native plants in their yard, and several of us raised our hands. She advised growing milkweed. At the end of the program, I told her I'd seen a monarch butterfly on echinacea. She said that goldfinches loved echinacea seeds. I said we'd had a goldfinch on there last fall.
Soon after I got home from that, Mom and I went out to the Amish market. We got sugar-free apple pie and cheese. I had gotten a lot of cheese last week, so we didn't get that much this week.
Later: Mom and I went to the grocery store. Our shopping trips were very productive.
YMCA-P. called last night, but I'd forgotten to check my phone. I called him this evening and talked to him for a bit.
Later still: I read a police procedural novella. Not really my thing, but it was free.
