Wednesday so far

I went to bed around 12:15 a.m.  I was very tired.  I don't think it took me long to get to sleep.  I woke at 9:15 a.m. or so.  I felt pretty well rested.

I tried Numi's Breakfast Blend tea today.  I've been using the teas out of a sampler box.  Over the last few days, I've had Gunpower Green and Toasted Rice Green Tea.  I liked those.  I tried the Yerba Mate Lemon Green Tea, and wasn't a fan.  I found that one bitter.  I may get a full box of the Breakfast Blend, though.

I have an appointment today, and then I may go shopping.  I'm sure I will read more.  I've been reading a lot of m/m novels and novellas.

I keep looking out at the cardinal flower, to see if the hummingbird has come back.  I haven't seen her yet today.  I've seen a lot of the usual birds on the suet.

I wrote to Uncle P.  He wants to have a party the last weekend in August, to celebrate his birthday and Aunt P.T.'s, and have a family get-together.  We don't meet up at Christmas time since Grandma S. passed away.  Warm weather and long days are better for driving, and Uncle P. and family live near West Point, so it's generally more moderate weather there in the summer than in southeastern Pennsylvania.

A little later: I saw the hummingbird at the cardinal flower again today.

Later: I made it to my appointment and then went to the sushi place at the mall and got eel and avocado sushi and jasmine bubble tea.  I had it when I got home.  I figure that will be my main meal today, and I'll have a sandwich or something for dinner.

I talked to J. for a while.  Dad and I read The Hummingbird Book: The Complete Guide to Attracting, Identifying, and Enjoying Hummingbirds and How to Attract Hummingbirds and Butterflies.

I listened to parts of the Democratic convention.  I thought Barack Obama's speech was good.
