Mom and I went to the local independent book store. I got a book on "feeder birds." Dad will be able to refer to it to see what birds he can recognize.
When we got home, I watered the cardinal flower, blue flag iris and the jasmines. The sambac jasmine 'Maid of Orleans' has lots of flowers open.
Later: Mom and I went to the Y and went swimming. The water was cold, so I just paddled around a little and read some of John Buchan's The African Colony. It was written in 1902, and Buchan is quite the racist. The colony is South Africa.
YMCA-P. had called last night, but by the time I saw his call, it was 11:00 p.m., too late to call back. I called him back this evening. I texted J. A.J. called me back, and we talked for a while.
I fell asleep in a chair downstairs at 9:00 p.m. I went upstairs and dozed from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. I went on the computer for half an hour, and then read for about half an hour, and went to bed again.
