We went to Baltimore to celebrate J.'s birthday. K. had arranged it, and held at her parents' house. It was nice. J. and K. gave me a belated birthday present, a book reprinting team-ups between Spider-Man and the X-Men. I gave J. the Star Wars stuff I'd gotten from Five Below. Z. immediately appropriated the "May the Force Be With You" slap bracelet. I don't know if J. ever got it back. He didn't open the Star Wars trivia box, but I'm sure he will when he's home. J.'s sister-in-law and brother-in-law gave him a Star Wars lunchbox, T-shirt and travel mug. We hadn't even talked to them. We just all knew that J. is a Star Wars fan. We had lunch catered by the Mission Barbeque. We stayed for a couple of hours, then took the scenic route home. There were a lot of princess trees blooming. It was a lot of driving for one day, but it was nice to see everyone.
Later: I chatted with Jamie for a while. YMCA-P. called. I tried to explain non-binary people to him, but there's only so much he can understand. Then again, the garden club ladies wouldn't understand either. It was nice catching up with Jamie.
Later still: I read fan fic for a while.
