Today the Brandywine Conservancy is having their native plants sale at the Brandywine River Museum. It's tomorrow, too. If the weather isn't as terrible today as it was yesterday, I'll go today. Tomorrow is Mother's Day, and I still need to get a card.
I got the free books from BookBub. I started reading No Ifs, Ands, or Bears About It by Celia Kyle. I've read a number of her stories. This one is good so far.
A few hours later: I went to the Brandywine Conservancy plant sale. I thought about getting ferns, but I still have a lot of lady ferns. I ended up getting a cardinal flower, a 'Purple Dome' aster, and a little pot of butterfly weed.
Soon after I went home again, Mom and I went out to Macy's to look for a raincoat for her. She needs one that doesn't have straps or buttons near the cuffs, because she needs to get the sleeves shortened. Most of the raincoats we saw had straps and/or buttons near the cuffs. We made the inevitable stop at the grocery store, and saw Z. I wished Z. a happy Mother's Day. She said she had to work.
A few hours after that: Mom and I went to the Dollar Store. I got Mom a Mother's Day card while she was in another aisle. We went to Wal-Mart. It was cheaper to get a new watch than to get a new watchband, so I got a new watch.
Later: I finished No Ifs, Ands, or Bears About It. It was pretty good.
Later still: I read Temeraire fic and Daredevil fic.
