I made plans to meet up with J.-PA at 1:15 p.m. to go to the used bookstore. Since I'm up early, I may go to the Amish market in the morning.
A few hours later: I didn't get moving that quickly. I met up with J.-PA at noon and we looked at the Amish romances her grandmother was giving away. I took some, but some looked very familar. I knew I had a few of them. Mom's read a lot of them, too. She doesn't remember what she's read off the top of her head, so we're going to stop by there after dinner and Mom will check the books against her lists. J.-PA and I went to the used bookstore. She got several books. I saw that gardening books were on sale half-price, and may come back.
I dropped J.-PA off at her house and went to the Amish market. I got cheeses, jellies, juice and breads. The fruit and vegetable place had herbs on sale. I got dill, basil, lemon thyme and pineapple mint.
The roofers were still working when I got back. I had a couple of pieces of sourdough bread for a late lunch.
Later: Mom and I went to J.-PA's house. Mom brought her lists. I had only taken home one book that I already had, and I brought that back. Mom got a lot of Beverly Lewis books. After that, we went to Wendy's and then the grocery store. By the time we got home, the sun had set and the roofers had gone for the day. Dad said they promised to be back bright and early tomorrow morning.
