Die_traumerei posted the last chapter of her fic, "C8H10N4O2 (The Building Block of Love)." It was a happy ending, after some parts with angst and some sweet parts. I very much enjoyed the fic. It was an interesting exploration of the work it takes to start and maintain a healthy relationship, and negotiating different attitudes towards disability, and communication.
There was a new chapter of "Waiting Room," too, and I read that. That's almost at an end. Things have improved a lot for Bucky through the fic. It's a high school AU, no powers.
I did laundry. After Dad gets home from his exercise class, I hope to go to the Amish market. They have such good foods. In the meantime, I'll be doing more laundry.
E.M. called about my lunch invitation. She is super-busy next week, but we will try to get together for lunch sometime.
I noticed that the hyacinth was blooming. It seems like I only got that a few days ago. That was fast.
A few hours later: I made it to the market. I saw L.F. from the secondhand bookstore there. We exchanged numbers.
I shopped in the jams and jellies aisle. I got more strawberry-rhubarb jam to replace the one of Mom's I'd eaten. I got quince and passionfruit jellies and bumbleberry and F.R.O.G. jams. The bumbleberry is a mix of strawberry, red raspberry and blueberry. It was strong, but not in a bad way. The F.R.O.G. jam has figs, raspberries, orange juice and ginger in it, so I assume that's where the initials come from. I haven't tasted that one yet. We only have so much room for jelly jars in the refrigerator. I liked the quince jelly.
I got cheeses, too. I got provolone, muenster, Amish butter, dill havarti, smoked cheddar, and roasted garlic cheeses. I got citrus splash juice and strawberry lemonade. I got a couple of glazed doughnuts. When I got home, I had a good early dinner of bread and cheese and bread and jelly.
Later: I watched a couple of episodes of "Call the Midwife," finishing up the third season.
Later still: I chatted a little with Riah and a little with WhiteSheepCBD.
