We're dug out enough to get the cars out of the driveway, so I think. Mom decided not to go to work when she heard that all the school districts around the area were having another snow day. She works 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and got the call that the university was closed at 7:55 a.m. She was glad she hadn't gone in. She would have been mad if she'd driven all that way and found that the university was closed. She's done that before. I'm sure they're still working on clearing snow out of the parking lots and the little roads on campus.
We'll probably go to the local public library, which is probably open by now, and to the grocery store, which I'm sure will be open.
A few hours later: The library lot was packed, so we didn't stop there, but we made it to the grocery store and restocked on food. It was good to get out of the house and get a change of scene, at least. We may go to the library later.
I got some free books from BookBub. A Kindle book by Hollis Shiloh is free today, but I already had it. I'll tell TallCR and others personally.
Later than that: Dad and I watched "Agent Carter." I started watching the first few episodes of season two of "Agents of SHIELD." The first episode had a flashback to Peggy and the Howling Commandos, then went to the modern day. "Agent Carter" is setting up for a lot of modern-day Avengers and SHIELD things.
