Wednesday so far

I tried going to bed at 12:15 a.m., but didn't sleep.  I was up at 1:00 and 2:00 a.m.  I must have fallen asleep when I went back to bed a little after 2:00, because I woke at 3:00.  At 6:30 I got up and had breakfast, and had a mug of chamomile tea.  I went back to bed and slept until 10:50, when P.M. called.

I had called P.M. yesterday to ask when the new season of Downton Abbey started.  She told me that it started January 3rd.  We talked about the show a little.  I also said that I'd clean up my garden club minutes and e-mail them out to the garden club ladies.

Later: Mom and I went to the local independent bookstore so Mom could get one last book for the church library before the end of the year.  I suggested God and the Gay Christian, but she got one about St. Paul.  I got a new atlas, one that was more comprehensive than the very thin one I got last year.  The thin one concentrated on the U.S., with very little about other countries.  We stopped at the opticians' to get the earpieces of my glasses tightened so my glasses weren't falling off when I looked down.

We went home briefly, then went out to the grocery store.  I got Gatorade to drink to have something that would be easy on my stomach.

YMCA-P. called a couple of times.  A.C. called.

I chatted a little with WhiteSheepCBD.  I did laundry.

Later still: I talked with A. for about an hour.
