I gave Dad his birthday card. To celebrate his birthday, we went to the Brandywine River Museum so he could see the trains. I enjoyed seeing the Christmas tree with the "critters" made from dried plant material, and the antique dolls. Mom and I went through a couple of the galleries while Dad was in looking at the trains. He looked at a gallery and then we had lunch. It's a pretty small museum, but they have some cool stuff. I'm still sorry that Mom and I never made it to the museum when there was a showing of Horace Pippin's paintings. I would have liked to see that.
We stopped off at home for a bit, and then Mom and I went out and about again. We went to the grocery store and the library. The grocery store was extremely busy.
Later: I went to the Friday Night Friends Christmas party. People brought snacks. A.J. gave me a card and a Captain America puzzle, because she knows I like Marvel. T., the volunteer, gave us little plastic Christmas trees with lights and balls to put on them. He gave the girls scarves and the boys light-up Rudolph noses. When I got home, Dad helped me put up the tree. I told T. I would send him a picture tomorrow.
