Monday so far

I turned off the computer a little before 11:00 p.m.  I read Colton and Ry by Hollis Shiloh.  I went to bed a little after midnight.  I woke around 7:00 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep.  I figured I must have gotten seven hours of sleep, though.

Mom stayed home sick.  She'll probably be better enough to go to Wal-Mart and/or the grocery store in a couple of hours.  We've all been having gastrointestinal issues going around, hitting us a few days apart.  I don't know if it's something we're eating, or a stomach virus.

I read a new chapter of "War, Children."  Steve is a homeless trans man and Bucky is a veteran with a lot of mental issues.  It looks like they'll be helping each other out.

Roane was the free ARe book today.  I already had the PDF, but I got it in epub and .mobi format, too.  It was good, but not what the people on the Gay Book forum are looking for.  There was m/m contact, but it was in the context of quite a lot of contact generally.

A few hours later: Mom and I went to the post office to drop off her Christmas cards.  The post office was very busy.  We stopped at the grocery store.  We went to Wal-Mart.  It was a successful shopping trip.

Later: I made it to an appointment.

Later still: I read Avengers fic.  I finally finished "Gimme Shelter."  I had left off with it midway through because it was super-depressing, but when I picked up with it again today things gradually started to improve for Bucky.  That universe's Steve was a jerk sometimes, though.
