Sunday so far

I turned the computer off before 11:00 p.m.  I think I went to bed around 12:30 a.m.  I woke at 2:30 a.m., but went back to bed, and I think I went to sleep pretty fast.  My alarm went off at 10:00 a.m.  I was still very sleepy and groggy, though, and turned the alarm off, figuring I would lie down again for five more minutes.  Next thing I knew, Mom was telling me it was 11:40.  That was pretty bad.  Usually once I get to sleep, I stay asleep.  I don't know why I've been waking up once I've gone to sleep.

We're having record-breaking hot temperatures here.  I think it was over 70 degrees F., in December.  Usually it's close to freezing now.  Mom and I went for a walk in the local park.  I was comfortable in a T-shirt.  The sweatpants I was wearing made me feel too warm.

I read the new chapter of "Sacred Heart."  It resolved a lot of issues.  That was chapter 50, and the fic is over 200,000 words.  I've been reading it a chapter at a time, so I don't get intimidated by the length of it.

A couple of hours later: Mom and I went to the dollar store.  She got a birthday card for Dad, and I got Christmas cards, mostly for the garden club ladies.  I got a fleece scarf, too.  We stopped at a grocery store on the way back.  It was a successful trip.  It was weird to have the temperature in the 60s still as it got dark so early.

Later: I talked with A. for a while.
