Wednesday so far

I turned the computer off around 11:15 p.m., after watching Winter Soldier and noting here that I'd watched it.  I finished Stones in the Road.  It was good.  I enjoyed that and the previous book, Shaking the Sugar Tree.  I went to bed around 1:30 a.m.  It didn't take me a terribly long time to get to sleep, I don't think.  Ironically enough, the sleep specialist's office woke me at 9:00 a.m. by calling back about my question about the full-spectrum light.  They said to use it soon after I got up.

I used the light from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m., while starting to watch the first episode of "The Borgias."  I will finish that and perhaps watch another episode.  It's raining today, and I don't have to be anywhere.  I also want to watch an episode of "Daredevil."  Over the winter, I plan to watch all the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies in order, including the bits after the credits.

I am anticipating getting a couple more editing jobs for December, and will start working on them as soon as they're available to line edit.

Slightly later: I finished watching the first episode of "The Borgias."  It was a lot easier to understand when I knew who the people were.  There's a large cast.

Later: I went to the grocery store.  There was a sale on frozen vegetables, which is the kind of thing Mom gets excited by.  I had come to the store for frozen vegetables, so that worked out nicely.  Obviously my day has been very quiet.

Later still: I talked to A. for over half an hour.  I finished watching the first season of "Daredevil."

J.-PA missed the foreshadowing and background for future happenings.  Like Karen said she might turn to harder stuff than alcohol, and Foggy said, "Narcotics?"  So Karen will become a junkie like in the comic books sooner or later on the TV show.  And Foggy talked about the Greek girl Matt liked in college.  That was Elektra, so Elektra will come in there somewhere, too.  So many people got killed off that I didn't expect to be killed off.  J.-PA had told me that Ben Urich didn't survive the season.  Neither did the Owl or the Arranger (Wesley), which she didn't tell me about.  Vanessa was in a coma, although she wasn't married to the Kingpin at the time.  I didn't watch the credits that carefully, but Frank Miller should have gotten credit for the style and design, and for some of the characters.  Basically it was Frank Miller's Daredevil televised.
