Mom's friend and carpool buddy, H.M., a physics professor, came over to pick Mom and me up so we could go to Costco and a farmers' market. Many of the food items at Costco were in amounts too large to be eaten just by Mom and Dad and me. We got some things, though.
The farmers' market was neat. I got a couple of sample-sized jellies, a block of smoked cheddar cheese and a pumpkin whoopie pie. The strawberry rhubarb jam was very good on a croissant, and I wished I'd gotten the full-sized bottle of that. Maybe next time.
It was a lower-key day today, but I still feel like I've been all over southeastern Pennsylvania in the last few days.
Later: I did laundry. Mom and I watched the first episode of "Manor House" again, this time with Mom awake. "But there's no plot," Mom said.
"It's a reality show," I said. "Think of it as a historical reenactment."
