Tuesday so far

I turned off the computer a little before 11:30 p.m.  I reread part of an Avengers fic in which the title is the chemical formula for caffeine.  I knew it was an organic chemistry formula, despite flunking organic chemistry twice.  I went to bed around 1:00 a.m., and I don't think it took me long to get to sleep.

I got up with my alarm at 10:00 a.m.  I have an appointment with Dr. K. this afternoon.

Yesterday, on our way home, Dad went west on Bloomfield Avenue to take me on a little tour of where generations of his family had grown up and worked, in Verona and Bloomfield.  His grandfather had worked in the municipal building in Verona in what must have been the 1930s and 1940s.  We took back roads -- if you would call Route 287 a back road -- home, to avoid all the construction on the turnpikes.

Later today: I made it to the appointment with Dr. K.  After that, Dad and I went to the library and to Wal-Mart.  I returned a bunch of books.  I found that tea was cheaper at Wal-Mart than at several grocery stores, but there wasn't as much of a variety.

I returned YMCA-P.'s call from yesterday.  I worked on an editing job.  I chatted with Riah a little bit.

Later than that: I talked with A.J.  I read Avengers fic.  K. called, and I talked with her and J.  I told her about Dad's trip down memory lane, and said that I'd like to do more of that with J. along to hear it, too.
