Dad left for the VA complex for his class about weight loss not too long after I got up. When he got home, I headed out to the grocery store. The car windshield and windows were fogging up pretty badly, but I wiped off the windshield and made my trip to and fro all right.
The first episode of "Tremontaine" came out. I started reading it. It had a lot of head-hopping (POV violations). I wonder if "Tremontaine" has an editor.
Later: I did laundry. I looked at books that were published by ARe. I got a couple by B.A. Tortuga and Julia Talbot. I got MLR books by Kaje Harper and Stephani Hecht that were in the "Storming Love" series. When you get books directly from MLR, you only get one format, so I didn't mind getting them from ARe.
I had posted that Interlude Press books were 25% off on ARe today. Jax said she'd never heard of Interlude Press or the authors, and asked if I'd heard of them. I replied in great detail. I explained about its origins in Glee fan fiction, and how some of the books had originally been fics. I mentioned other books that were originally fan fiction and said that when I'd learned that Ransom had originally been Horatio Hornblower fan fiction suddenly things had made a lot more sense. I said I knew of Loose Id and Dreamspinner Press books that were originally fan fiction.
