Tuesday so far

I turned the computer off at 11:30 p.m.  I sat up reading a book titled African Americans on Television: Race-ing for Ratings.  I went to bed around 1:00 a.m.  I got up just before my alarm would have gone off, at two minutes to ten, so that wasn't bad.

I texted a little with WhiteSheepCBD.

Mom and I went to the optician.  I'd managed to break my glasses frame again.  The opticians fixed it.

We will be going out to the library and shopping very soon.

Later: We went to the library.  I returned a bunch of baseball books.  I had started a few, but didn't get terribly far into most of them.  We got season five of "Downton Abbey" out again.  We went to the mall, but the department store we were in was having a big sales event, and it was very crowded and loud.  I told Mom she could go back with Dad tonight.  We went to the grocery store.  That was a much more productive trip.

A.J. called.  I called her back.  We made tentative plans to go to an Indian restaurant for their buffet on Friday.

The Josh thing continues to get commentary.  Diane-as-Josh was never anything but kind to me, but I have mixed feelings still about the big reveal and how it was handled.  I'm still a fan of hers, though, and I'll still read her books.  I'll get in touch with her sooner or later.  It's going to be weird to say, "Hi, Diane" rather than "Hi, Josh."
