Sunday so far

I turned off the computer at 11:00 p.m.  I read Fire and Water by Andrew Grey, the first in his Carlisle Cops series.  I went to bed at 1:30 a.m.  I don't think it took me terribly long to get to sleep.  I woke at 9:00 a.m., but went back to bed.  I lay there thinking for a while, and must have dozed off.  I woke again at 10:30.  I should have stayed up at 9:00, but 10:30 wasn't terrible.

I started chatting with Jamie and then checked my phone.  WhiteSheepCBD had sent a text.  I proofread something for her.  I got distracted from everything by lunch, which was scrambled eggs and lower-sodium bacon.  I didn't notice a difference in taste with the lower-sodium bacon.  It still wasn't exactly a healthy meal, but it was yummy.

Mom and I went to the library.  I think it was BookBub that featured the fourth book in a cozy mystery series on sale cheap while the first three were regular price.  I got the books from the library.  You usually can find the "mainstream" books at the library.  I got High Rhymes and Misdemeanors in print form from interlibrary loan.  The library record said it was a CreateSpace book published in 2014, but the book I actually got was the first printing of the Pocket Book, published in 2003.  I'm sure there is a CreateSpace version now.  The Pocket Book version was from a library in a nearby county.

Slightly later: Mom was looking for a pork chop recipe.  Somehow this ended up with me recycling paper from a bag from when I moved back home in 2011.  I had known there was a bag somewhere with my ankle exercise directions in it, but I hadn't known where.  I saved those pages and a few other things.

Later: Mom and I watched episode two of season five of "Downton Abbey."

Slightly later than that: Someone on the Internet had been being wrong for several days, and I finally told them they were wrong.  I tried to be civil enough that the mods wouldn't reprimand me.  We'll see how that turns out.  A. and I talked for a little while, but he was tired.  Usually I get tired first, because I'm an hour ahead, but he said he was getting a cold.  I said that at least I hadn't given it to him, and I hoped he felt better soon.

I will probably read for a while.
