I looked at my phone around 11:00 a.m. and saw that WhiteSheepCBD had sent me a text saying that Rainjoy had put up a new chapter of the Affinity 'Verse. I read that. It was emotionally grueling.
I texted with J.-PA a little. I chatted with Jules a little bit.
Last night I read through the first two in the series that precede this third one that I'm editing now. I printed the third one out and read through it.
Mom and I went to the grocery store. It was a productive trip.
A little later: I finished up that editing job. The baby dragons are so cute.
Later: I went to the university's GLBT organization's 40th anniversary party. Both C.K.s were there, and J.A., and M.R., of the students I knew at the time. J.H. was there. If the female C.K. reads this, I don't give exact details to identify real life people and events. I use initials and scramble acronyms. "Southeastern Pennsylvania" is specific enough for location, though I'll name the city if I go to Philadelphia or Baltimore. For various reasons, it is a lot easier for me to get to Baltimore, though that's more miles from me than Philadelphia.
Anyway, it was nice to see the folks I knew. They had a slideshow of pictures from those 40 years. I was in one picture, the organization's very first homecoming float. I was wearing the prom dress Grandma S. made me and a blonde wig. I wasn't too recognizable in the blonde wig. I got tired tonight, and I was trying hard not to cough on anybody. I hope T. doesn't get my cold. I told both C.K.s that we should get together. I've seen the male one and his partner a few times in the grocery store where J.-PA works. When I see them there, they're usually trying to get out as quickly as possible. It seemed like the party was a success.
"50 Shades of Purple" updated.
Tomorrow is OutFest in Philadelphia. If I get really ambitious, I'll go to Giovanni's Room. If I see the Summer Love anthology on the shelves there, I'll take a picture of it for Sam. I loved his story. If I see Load the Dice, I'll take a picture of it for Riah.
