Friday so far

I finished my reread of "Permanancy" and started on the one about adopting Miles.  I went to bed a little before 1:00 a.m., and I don't think it took me long to get to sleep.  I woke a little before 9:00 a.m., so I figure I got a good eight hours in.

Uly thought Jules made a good point on the "Josh Lanyon" thread of the Goodreads Backlot Gay Book forum, although he thought that I was the one who had made that point.  I said it was Jules and added my own commentary.

I got free books from BookBub.  I definitely have "e-clutter" on my e-readers.  The Free Fridays Nook book was a thriller with murder.  It didn't sound like my kind of thing.

A few hours later: I read book one of The Horse Mistress.  I liked it.  I did a review of it.  Carivel is a genderqueer character, usually feeling more male than female.   I used gender-neutral pronouns for Carivel in my review.  Andoc is a warrior and Senovo is an eunuch priest.  As I said in my review, I liked that there was some attention paid to the characters' jobs, and how they did their jobs.  It has a menage romance, power exchange and bondage.  James and Jules would probably like it, and probably Alex, too.  I don't think it would really be WhiteSheepCBD's thing.

Tonight the Friday Night Friends go on a hayride.

Later: The hayride was fun.  There's a fire to sit at.  T. brought hot dogs and K. brought the makings for s'mores.
