I listened to parts of the pope's speech to Congress. He talked about the environment, about helping the poor, about families, about dreams and opportunites, about immigration and more. He got varied responses to different parts of his speech. Note: I am not religious.
I called Mom to wish her a happy birthday.
Later: I went to the grocery store. I dropped off groceries at home and then went to the dollar store and to Wal-Mart.
I chatted with Jules for a while. We catch up with daily things, but we usually end up talking shop. I asked J.-PA how her vacation was, and she said the beach part was good.

I got Murder in Pastel and started reading it.
