Tuesday so far

I turned off the computer a little after 11:00 p.m.  I sat up until 1:00 a.m. reading a B.A. Tortuga book.  It's one of the couple she has out from Dreamspinner Press.  This one is titled "Ever"-something.  The other book is the first in a series, with the second one being in the "Coming Soon" list.  I got that one, too.  Sean Michael has really diversified.  I'm sure he's still writing Torquere books, but he's also writing for AQP, Changeling, Totally Bound (I think), ARe itself, and probably others.  I'll have to look up which other publishers B.A. Tortuga is publishing with.  I got up at 9:00 a.m.

I thought Mom and I would go swimming, but it doesn't look like it.  Dad said perhaps he would go to the Y with me.  Mom and I will probably go shopping.

I saw Jules' announcement on her LJ that "Knotting the Tie" had been accepted as a free Fling to go with "Nice Tie."  I think a lot of people had the idea that "Nice Tie" would be BDSM, when it was really mild kink.  I should recommend it to Uly.  He doesn't read BDSM, but I think he'd be good with the mildly kinky Brits in "Nice Tie."

Slightly later: Mom and I went to the dollar store.  We got 2016 calendars and birthday cards for Uncle P. and Aunt P.T.

Later than that: Dad and I dropped my car off at Firestone and then went out and about in Dad's car.  We went to the Y.  I showed Dad the weight room and we went on the treadmills for a little bit.  I had brought my e-reader and read a couple more chapters of that B.A. Tortuga book as I walked on the treadmill.  We got spring water and went to a nearby Goodwill.  We went to the library, and I got videos.  Tuesdays are the day that you can rent two DVDs for the price of one.  I got the two new Star Trek movies, "Frozen," and the first season of "The Borgias."  Firestone called to say the frame of my car was rusty, and we doubled back there.  I have until the end of September to decide what I want to do about that, whether to have body work done, or get a new-to-me car.  And figure out how to pay for either of those things.  I went to the food court at the local mall and got teriyaki chicken and a "passion fruit slush" frozen drink.  That was nice and cooling.

I chatted with Riah a bit, before she needed to put the goober to bed.

Later still: I read a mystery.  It was one that had been featured in Dear Author's Daily Deals, but I got it from the library.
