I chatted for a couple minutes with Riah. I texted with A. and WhiteSheepCBD. I wrote Te. I did laundry. I got the Free Friday Nook book and other free books, both from the comments on the Nook blog and from BookBub. Uena posted a new chapter in her latest "The Sweetest Thing" story.
Mom and I are going to go swimming at B.L.'s club.
Later: Mom and I and B.L. went swimming. The pool was small and shallow. There was another larger pool, but you had to pay extra for that. I paddled and floated a little. Mom swam some laps. I read The Blasphemer by John Ling. I thought it was interesting. I've read suspense-thriller romances, but I rarely read books that are just suspense-thrillers. I got the prequel novella and read that. They seem to have been self-published. The word "adrenaline" is used a lot in the books, but it's spelled "adrenalin." Unless that's a Commonwealth English thing. In the U.S., "adrenaline" has two "e"s.
After we got back, I looked up when Ant-Man was playing at the theater in [semi-local town]. There are showings tomorrow afternoon. The Fantastic Four is out as well, with the black Johnny Storm. As of the 1990s movies, Johnny and Sue Storm were brother and sister. (As they were in the comic books.) Perhaps in the new movie they'll be step-siblings, as the reboot Sue is still white and blonde. I feel like I'm being reactionary for being stuck on the race-bending.
YMCA-P. and I played phone tag for a while, and then talked. J.-PA asked if I'd watched any more Daredevil. I told her I'd try to watch some this weekend.
Mom and I watched season three, episode eight of "Downton Abbey." It all ended happily, but I know they kill another character off in the Christmas special.
It was a decent day.
