I saw that ARe was having a flash sale on Loose Id books. Loose Id doesn't have sales all that often. I posted about it on the Goodreads Backlot Gay Books Forum and named about a dozen Loose Id authors who write m/m.
I looked at the BookBub sales, too. There was a good sale on a Hollis Shiloh book, so I got that.
I finally got out of the house around 12:30 p.m. and went to the Y to pick up A.J. We headed off on a mix of shopping and windowshopping. We had lunch at the grocery store with a cafe in [semi-local town]. Last time they had a couple of choices of Indian food. Today it was channa masala and curried chicken. I went with the channa masala. A.J. had a good meal.
Next we went to Five Below. A.J. got a book for her brother-in-law for his birthday. We windowshopped at Best Buy. We went to Barnes & Noble and windowshopped there, too. I returned the Nook cover I'd gotten the other day because I didn't think it fit that well. I saw a documentary about Viet Nam in the $4.99 DVDs section. I didn't want to get it for Dad without seeing if he already had a copy.
We headed back to the house. There's a talent show at the summer camp A.J. goes to. It's not terribly far from [borough]. I am going to try to find the camp. Hopefully A.J. can navigate. Her sister B. told me how she went and Dad had an idea, too. We shall see. I hope V.'s mom T. is there. She likes historical romances so we find a good bit to talk about.
Later: We found the camp. It wasn't far from [borough]. The campers have special needs. I enjoyed the talent show.
