I did a second read-through on the editing job, and turned it in. I forwarded Sam an e-mail from Giovanni's Room. The book his story is in was listed as being there at Giovanni's Room.
I don't have big plans for the day. I may go to the AT&T store.
Later: I did in fact go out and about. I went to the AT&T store, where Nicole was unhelpful and told me several things that weren't true about why my mobile e-mail apps weren't working before she and her associate Brian said that the problem was with AT&T and not actually my fault, but that they couldn't do anything about it at the store. I would have been happier if she'd just told me what the problem was, or that she didn't know, which was apparently the case for the first twenty minutes, rather than blame me for it in four or five different ways before being truthful.
I went to the dollar store after that, then to Barnes & Noble to windowshop e-readers. I didn't get an e-reader, just a piece of chocolate cheesecake.
So all my other stops besides the AT&T store were fine, but I'm tempted to complain to AT&T about Nicole.
A couple hours after that: We went to Wendy's.
Later still: I called AT&T customer service, and Jennifer checked for me before telling me that mobile e-mail apps were no longer available for basic phones, since so many people had smartphones now. She said that there had been a letter about it in March. I said that I'd gotten the basic phone at the end of May. Jennifer tried to upsell me a few times, but actually did answer my questions. It's not her fault that I didn't care for the answer.
I looked for Musketeers gen fic for WhiteSheepCBD, who prefers canon relationships to non-canon ones. Much of the fic I saw was slash. A good deal of what wasn't had warnings for torture, and I didn't think she'd be into that, either. I'm certainly not. I read more Avengers fic. I wrote to Colton to recommend the fic "No Fagots" (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1852072/chapters/3984274) as something Weeds might read.
