I texted with WhiteSheepCBD for a while. I looked at the free Nook book, but it was a thriller that was partway through a series. I got a couple of free romances. The way it's set up now makes it more difficult to get books.
I went out and took pictures of the lavender-flowered bee balm, the red-flowered bee balm, and the echinacea.
I put bird seed and suet out, and put fresh water in the bird baths.
A few hours later: Mom and I were talking about going swimming, but ended up going shopping instead. We went to the liquor store, then to the grocery store where J.-PA works. We didn't see her, but I saw a friend from college. I waved, but he didn't recognize me. I said to Mom, "I thought that was C.K." But then I thought I must have been mistaken. Mom and I headed to the dollar store. She got birthday cards for her nieces and nephews (my cousins). I got a glow stick flag. We went to a Walgreen's. Eggs were on sale there, and they have gotten quite expensive because of the bird flu. I told Mom the last time we got eggs that there would be a shortage until there was a new generation of healthy laying hens. I'm pretty sure chickens are mature enough to lay eggs by the time they're a year old.
I texted J., but got no reply. He said yesterday that he'd get back to us sometime before Monday. C.K. placed me after he got home, and e-mailed me. I'll ask A. if he wants to chat this weekend.
Slightly later: A.J. called back. YMCA-P. called to tell me that he was home from church camp. I arranged to talk with A. on Sunday.
Later: I put the flower pictures up on Tumblr. I think of putting those pictures up as "flower spam" for the people who are following me for other reasons. The Glee fans usually seem to like the flowers well enough, though.
YMCA-P. and I played phone tag for a while, then managed to connect. We talked for a little while.
