I chatted with Riah for a little while. I returned A.J.'s call from yesterday. She was going to see the tall ships, if the weather wasn't too bad. It's raining pretty hard, though. Mom and Dad are trying to figure out if the Phillies game will be rained out. I chatted with Jamie a bit. Zie lives in western Canada and was up super early again. I texted A. and arranged to talk with him tomorrow. I texted WhiteSheepCBD. So I talked with one definitely real person and several people who seem relatively real. I also texted J., which makes it two real people.
Kay and Te are both making posts about transgender women of color. I am reblogging some from Te and some from Kay. I also reblogged a post from Te about how an activist in South Carolina took the Confederate battle flag at a monument by the South Carolina Capitol down. I read further in the links, and, sadly, the Confederate flag is back up. But it was down for an hour.
I posted that my Tumblr was partially becoming a social justice blog. Reluctant though I was about that. In practice, I like to think of myself as a secular humanist.
I chatted with Riah again. I didn't go out because it was raining hard most of the day. The trees were really swaying in the wind. I think one large branch of a chokecherry tree is much closer to the back door than it was earlier today. So that was exciting. Also the lights flickered.
Later: I heard back from Predatrix, who was up either super late or ungodly early. She'd replied at length. I replied again at length. It's like the squirrels have a lot of time figuring out how to get to the birdseed. My schedule is generally quite flexible.
