I've been watching some of One Life to Live on Anthony Langford's Gay Romance YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/anthonydlangford). I've watched into November from the episodes starting from June 2009, and I'm watching current episodes. The whole baby drama is supposed to come to a head in February -- sweeps month. I'm hoping that it will come out that Oliver is the baby-daddy, and that he at least gets visitation rights. I don't expect he'd get custody of the baby. It's not like he and Kyle are ready to be parents, though Oliver has said a couple of times that he'd like to have children at some point.
It's still a little unnerving to be watching a soap opera that isn't subtitled. I'm watching clips from Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten (Good Times, Bad Times -- the German version) and the Dutch version, Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden. Lenny is deservedly full of angst for what he did to Carsten on the German show, and Lucas is still suffering emotionally from being bashed on the Dutch show. Lucas is getting therapy now, and I hope that helps. He's kind of bratty sometimes, but it seems like he's basically a good kid. I think he's supposed to be in his late teens. The actor is in his late teens as well. Those clips are on After Elton's "Gays of Our Lives." I haven't found other online (and subtitled) sources for the Dutch show. GZSZ is available from RTL, but you have to pay for it. It's not free for a week like Alles Was Zahlt is.
I probably wouldn't get into all the other characters on GZSZ like I have with Eskimo Kiss Project's clips of AWZ. I really miss Mike. I like Marian, especially now that he and Deniz are getting along well. EKP is following a good amount of Marian's story anyway. Axel is one of those characters you love to hate, but he should be coming back from Buenos Aires at some point. I miss the comedy of his evil. I like when the other characters call him Graf Zahl (Count Calculator) and yogurt-face. I don't mind that Ingo is out of town for a while, though he was a lot funnier when he wasn't trying to be a comedian.
