I got the free ARe books. The past couple of days, the books have had bad reviews, but I figure they're along the same quality lines as the common run of what I'm used to. I appreciate the reviews, though. And I'm not paying anything for the books.
Dear Author had some commentary about science fiction in their news. Not the latest science fiction news, but some older posts by women.
Today is my appointment with the sleep specialist.
A few hours later: I told Dr. A. that I'd let Daylight Savings Time mess me up, but that I had been setting my alarm, and knew I needed to get up then instead of going back to sleep. He recommended "blue-blocking" sunglasses. I have prescription glasses, but will inquire with the optometrist to see if they have some blue-blocking sunglasses I can get in prescription strength.
A.J. called, and we played phone tag. We're going to get together Thursday at the Y, and then go to a library.
BookBub had that a book with gay protagonists, Sunset, was free. My impression was that that was always free. Nonetheless, I mentioned it on the Backlot Gay Books forum. I also said that I still had a number of books I'd gotten through previous ARe promos that I could give as gifts. In the last couple of promos, I've been getting several copies of a free book, then downloading a few in different formats for my own use. There are quite a few left that I could give as gifts.
Later still: I chatted with WhiteSheepCBD for a while. We talked about Interlude Press book covers, which are gorgeous. There's a lot of artistic talent in the Glee fandom.
