WhiteSheepCBD sent me a text at 7:30 a.m. to let me know that Rainjoy had posted another little chapter of the Affinity!Verse. I didn't hear it at the time, but when I checked rainjoyswriting to see if there was anything new, I saw the chapter and checked my phone to see if WhiteSheepCBD had seen it, which she had, hours before I had. It was a nice cheerful little bit, too, a nice change after the recent angst. I'm sure we'll go back to the angst soon enough, but it was nice to have cheerfulness. Affinity!Verse Athos' powers work to grow plants, too.
It's nice out. I will at least go outside to the yard, where the 'Ice Follies' daffodils are blooming. I may take a quick trip to Longwood Gardens.
Later: I didn't get to a public garden, but I looked in my own gardens to see what was blooming. I picked some of the 'Ice Follies' daffodils that were blooming in what was originally the herb garden. There's bee balm there and by the drainpipe near the back door. I think the one in the garden is red-flowered and the one by the drainpipe is lavender-flowered. There's lemon balm growing in the herb garden, and the Tradescantia 'Miss Kate' is coming up. Way back in the back yard, the winter honeysuckle is blooming. The mahonia has a few flowers open. It has more buds, but I think a lot of the buds must have been eaten. I picked a few miniature daffodil flowers that were on the slope by the west side of the house, because they were too small to be seen where they were, and could be better appreciated inside.
I read some Musketeers fic. Probably I shouldn't have reminded Te that Aramis in The Three Musketeers self-flagellated, because her whole group has picked up on it. It is original canon, though.
YMCA-P. called, and we talked for a while.
Later still: I chatted with J.-PA for a bit.
