I finished up an editing job.
S.M. had sent the list of the plants her church youth group was selling for a fundraiser. I checked off some on the list, including begonias, geraniums and portulaca. Dad will probably get some tomatoes, and maybe some impatiens and coleus. I called her. It wasn't a long phone call by the usual standards of talking with S.M.
I did my grocery shopping last night, and I don't know if I want to go out again to a grocery store today. I'm sure the grocery stores will be very busy.
Mom and I may watch some episodes of "Downton Abbey" today.
A few hours later: I went out and about the yard to look at the first flowers. The snowdrops are doing well. The snow crocuses and even some of the 'Pickwick' crocuses are coming up. The crocuses in the front yard look like they're getting eaten already. I planted the bulbs of the tommy crocuses, which were tiny. The winter honeysuckle is in bud, and so is the mahonia.
I was going to do a little shopping at Samhain, but it turned out I'd already pre-ordered the book. Uly had given the latest in the Plumber's Mate series rave reviews. I ended up doing a little shopping at Riptide, where some of Charlie Cochrane's books were on sale.
Later than that: I wrote to luvtheheaven. I reread some of FicDirectory's fics written off prompts from the Angst Meme. One is of Beth having Tay-Sachs.
After bumming myself out, I chatted with Te for a bit, and told her about Glee. Also I ended up ranting about the "ism"s.
