I went out and about. I went to Five Below, Wegman's, Best Buy, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft, and Aldi's. I decided to get "The Avengers" DVD after all. I got food at Aldi's. Otherwise I was good.
I went to see Dr. B., the podiatrist. My feet were fine.
I chatted with Riah for a while after I got home.
Later: I met up with the Friday Night Friends group for s'mores. Then we went to Barnes & Noble, where I didn't buy anything, figuring I'd been bad enough with buying books and movies in the past few weeks, and even that day. It was nice to see everybody, though.
I watched "Glee." I'm sure the lesbians will like the parts of the episode with Brittana focus. Mercedes seemed to be there to prop up Rachel. I didn't understand why they had to do that thing with Brittany's non-biological father having a "60 IQ." And really the whole part with her parents seemed insulting to me. They've been good with representation of people with intellectual disabilites with Becky. Also they had a dream sequence where Artie got up out of the wheelchair and danced. There was a lot with race and disability that seemed insulting to me, but I will have to see how people with lived experience took it.
Edited to add: FicDirectory said that Internet people could probably hear her screaming when Artie got out of his wheelchair in that dream sequence.
