I sat under my full-spectrum light for half an hour. I got together a collection of tea and my Sharpies. I remembered my garden club handbook and the folder I have the garden club minutes in, but forgot lunch. I stopped at a Wawa (tri-state area convenience store) on the way for lunch.
J.G. wanted to have a fast meeting, since ladies from another garden club were coming for the rain garden program. She started at 11:00 a.m., and finished by 11:40 a.m. It was fortunate that we finished that fast, because some of the other ladies showed up then. I manned the nametag table. I got lunch. Some more ladies from the other garden club showed up at 12:15 p.m., the time we told them, and I went back to manning the nametag table for a bit. We had the rain garden program from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
I had a number of the native plants they suggested. Between the Tyler Arboretum plant sale and the Brandywine Conservancy plant sale, I get a fair amount of native plants in the spring. I have cardinal flower, bee balm, winterberry, sweet bay magnolia, a couple of kinds of viburnum, irises and bleeding heart.
After I got home, I chatted with Riah for a while.
Later: I did laundry. I got the sequel to A Forbidden Rumspringa. I read some Avengers fic, and some Musketeers fic.
I chatted with J.-PA about the Lovesong 'verse, and Codeman about "Agent Carter."
Later still: I finished the first in the Brothers Grime series. I had told J.-PA that I had put the Lovesong 'verse in chronological order. She asked to read that version. She ended up formatting it, as I had just done cutting and pasting in Word, and the formatting from the LJ was lost.
