I am sitting under the full-spectrum light, which looks like it will be the closest thing I get to sunlight today, with how cloudy it is. Most of the past two weeks have been at least cloudy, sometimes raining or snowing. I think those days I have used the light have helped.
A few hours later: I went out and about. I went to the produce place to get flowers to take to a nursing home. A garden club member does this every month, and my month is January. I got a kalenchoe for $2.00. They had cyclamens for $2.00 as well, and jasmines for $5.00. I resisted getting a jasmine. I dropped off the kalenchoe with a note that it was from the garden club.
When I got home, I pruned the large yellow jasmine ('Revolutum') and looked at the Jasminium nitidum. It had a couple of buds. The yellow jasmine has a few more buds, too.
I had called S.M., and she called back. We discussed getting together. She said she'd spoken to former garden club member D.S., who is now living a little too far away to get to the meetings.
Later: I did an editing job. I chatted with Riah for a little while. I chatted with Jules a bit. She told me about the Heroes and Heartbreakers site, that there was a free short story by Summer Devon if you signed up for it. It seemed to be in the same series as The Gentleman and the Rogue, which I have in my to-be-read files. I read the short story.
Later still: I watched episodes seven and eight of "Sherlock."
